Why I do this

I have sat where you are sitting.

I know the worry of not understanding what comes next, the pressure of mounting costs and the emotional weight of a case involving your children.

Read my story

From uncertainty to equal shared care

I am a dad of two. When my marriage ended, I felt as though my life with my children had been reduced to scraps of time. Financial proceedings meant solicitors were no longer affordable, so I filed a C100 and represented myself.

It was one of the hardest periods of my life. I had to learn how the Family Court worked while trying to remain calm, child-focused and present for my children. Eventually, we reached an equal shared-care arrangement.

That experience is why I now offer the steady, practical support I wished I had at the beginning.

Every family is different and no outcome can be promised. What I can offer is patient preparation, a clear head and respectful support.

Important to know

Support, not legal representation

I am an independent McKenzie Friend, not a solicitor or barrister. I do not provide regulated legal advice, conduct litigation or act as your legal representative.

A McKenzie Friend may offer moral support, take notes, help with papers and quietly give practical assistance. Permission to attend and the extent of any participation are always matters for the court. I cannot speak for you unless the court gives specific permission.
